St. Louis, Missouri, Divorce and Family Law Attorney

Individuals facing divorce have many questions. What will my future be? Where will I live? Where will my children go to school, how will they feel about me during and after the divorce, and how can the courts help me pursue the best interests of my child with special needs?

Lawyer Margaret "Pegi" Price understands the questions divorcing families face, because she has faced the questions herself, and because she has helped families flourish during and after divorce for over 20 years.

Divorce can destroy a family's happiest moments and memories, but divorce is simply a search for solutions. By helping families navigate a civilized divorce or paternity suit, we can effectively advocate for families' children, and pursue the best long-term interests of children and each parent.

We Wrote the Book on Divorce

Ms. Price is highly involved in family law and child advocacy. She has written extensively about family law, including the book "What You Need To Know About Divorce," which is required reading in numerous classes, and a book about divorce and children with special needs. She conducts frequent seminars regarding family law. And she won a Teacher of the Year award from a national legal education organization.

An Advocate for Children With Special Needs

Ms. Price is also highly experienced and knowledgeable in helping families protect the rights of their children with special needs. Ms. Price grew up with an autistic sister, and is the mother of a child diagnosed with autism. As a trained autism therapist, Ms. Price worked with her son six hours per day, leading to a reversal of his diagnosis - one of the first autism diagnosis reversals on record.

When completing her own divorce several years ago, Ms. Price wrote her own parenting plan for the family law court, and has the skills to identify and obtain the full rights of each typical and special needs child.
